It is with great pleasure I finally announce the release of my first single from my debut album, “Home“!

Home was the very first song I wrote for the album, which I began writing in June this year. I didn’t have any goal or vision in mind for the song, let alone the album, so it ended up being a bit of a stream of consciousness in terms of the story unfolding. The song is about my time living abroad on a boat helping my sister sail through the Caribbean, and coming home to be reunited with the love of my life. This song broke a 2 year long writer’s block that I was enduring while trying to write songs for my band Filthy Lucre. Somehow, an entire album unfolded within a matter of weeks and I began recording each song as it was written, resulting in the album I am releasing next month.

It’s been a huge and exciting process watching all of this go from simply sitting on the couch writing down whatever came to mind back in June, to recording everything in my 2 bedroom apartment and then releasing it all to the world only weeks later.

Huge thanks to my manager, my partner, friends and family, and my new fans for all of your incredible support! I can’t wait to share the rest of the album with you next month.
